Jay asked me the other night to name three things about our house that I’ll miss, whenever we do sell it or move out.
- I’ll miss my studio.
- I’ll miss the ridiculously large kitchen that’s perfect for parties.
- I’ll miss standing outside with the dog, late at night, and seeing stars and hearing bullfrogs.
Jay said he would miss
- The fireplace.
- His studio.
- Working in the flower beds.
See? There are some good things.

I bet there's a way to make most of those things in a reality in Chicago. Just in a different way. But it's nice to know you can find the positive in an otherwise frustrating situation.

I will miss the lovely landscaping, the garage walls, and the inhabitants.
