The View from My Office

This isn’t a site I get to see everyday from my office window. He was about three feet from me… so near and yet so far.

By the way, I’m not afraid of heights, but I wouldn’t want this job.

Brent and Matt

Remember Matt, the boy I met in Michigan while on a rendezvous with some friends?

A couple of weeks ago, he drove down for a second shoot with me. He brought a friend this time. This was Brent’s first photo shoot, ever.

Cody, Hunk

I’m not really a fan of the term, “hunk.” It just seems so suburban. But the publishing company is telling me that 2012 Hunk of the Month selling well enough already that they’d like to talk about continuing this title with me.

Therefore, I’m starting to look for “hunky,” All-American, guys-next-door to use as possible calendar models for the next year. I’m going to have quick photo sessions with each of them to capture potential Hunk of the Month photos.

I started with Cody, one of my new models, who’s about as All-American as they come.

Jay’s Doctor

This is not a good photo, as it was taken on my camera phone. But one of Jay’s doctors looks like a soap opera doctor. And again, the photo doesn’t do it justice, but he has an unbelievable can.

This presents a problem when Jay — who’s pretty loose-lipped even at his most guarded — is coming out of twilight anesthesia, and therefore not in his right mind and apt to say whatever he’s thinking … over and over and over again. To say that we embarrassed ourselves might be an understatement.
