I always did wish I could get dinner at the gas station.

I’m embarrassed to tell you how close to my house I took this photo.

    We live in the eastern end of Canada and the regional gas chain (Irving) has restaurants in their larger, strategic stations – just off the highway for the trucker crowd. It’s always had good, “home cooking” and hand-made pies. (Avoid the “Buster Burger” – way too much food for anyone!!)

    All I could think of was the fact that gas was only 3.79…
