Los Angeles Times photographer Jay Clendenin took on a portrait project of US Olympic athletes prior to their departure for London. To make his portraits a little different, he took one portrait digitally using a Canon 5D Mark II (one of the best digital cameras on the market right now), and then he took one portrait on film using a 4×5-inch field camera and a 100+-year-old Petzval lens.
